The "Women of Grace" Women's Ministry is an outreach of the Gathering Place Foursquare Church in Marion, Ohio. We believe that as followers of Jesus Christ we should esteem women highly and recognize their value to God.

We exist to encourage women to fulfill the things they have heard God speak to them personally. Our purpose is to equip and release potential in women as influencers in the time and space, and unique situations where they live. One of our goals is to identify a women's unique potential as a woman of influence and see that potential brought out and come to maturity.

The places women influence greatly include the family, her personal home, the church, the market place, education, and government. Countless scenarios of potential exist, because the women of the 21st century have many doors open to them. Never before has wisdom and encouragement been more needed.

Many choices exist. Knowledge abounds. Times change. We meet in various places and at various times. There are opportunities to soak in prayer, hear teaches that will inspire, gather at breakfast and share hearts, or reach out to other women who need a loving touch.

The Good Breakfast

At Perkins Restaurant on the Second saturday of each month.

Theresa Willis leads this group and she writes: "Women are on God's heart and in his heart. He sees the women who are fearful of church and He sees the ones who love the 'fellowship of the saints'. He sees the women who have no hope and he sees the ones who are riding high in victory. His hearts bursts with love, joy, compassion, and pride for all his daughters. Come and explore the depths of God's love for you."

Worship and Word

At the Gathering Place, first and third Tuesdays, 7 pm.

Pastor Betty Yancey leads this evening gathering. She writes: "God is anointing women to become women of influence in all areas of their lives. Whether you are a stay at home mom, or if you are in the market place, God is bidding you to draw closer to him. He desires to minister through you wherever you are. He wants you to be all that He created you to be. Come and join the Women of Grace and allow the Holy Spirit to develop you to be a women of influence."

Events to be announced.

This ministry has been initiated by Pastor Lisa Bush. It is open to men, women, and children at The Gathering Place. It is the desire of the Women of Grace to take the love of God outside the church and into the city of Marion.

If you could be a blessing to Jesus, would you be interested? In Mathew 25, Jesus said, "If we feed and cloth the poor, visit the sick and the prisoners, we have done it to him." It is more blessed to give than to receive. Come and experience it for yourself. Join us as we reach out to touch the lives of people in need. Watch for upcoming events that will provide tangible opportunities for you to love your neighbor as yourself, and to store up treasures in heave; such as,

Preparing and serving dinners for local soup kitchens.

Visiting and providing gifts for the elderly.

Giving clothing and gifts to children.

Spa outreaches to women's shelters.
