Deral and Leslee Carson Deral and Leslee have been serving the Lord since their youth, but truly began ministry service around 1988. They both felt God calling them in a bigger direction, and so began to serve Him in every capacity that He asked of them. Both have ministered together in children’s ministry, music, and youth, along with providing services as assisting ministers. Leslee helps out at TGP as the event coordinator and Deral serves on the church council . Leslee sings on the TGP worship team and occasionally steps into the role as worship leader, and Deral plays bass and backs up as the alternate percussionist. They recently launched into a new ministry, Weekend to Remember®, a Family Life® ministry that fosters and promotes healthy marriages. Deral and Leslee were married in July, 1982 and are looking forward to celebrating their 26th wedding anniversary. They have always valued the commitment of the marriage vow, and rededicated their marriage in 1992. Together, Deral and Leslee love to do many things: Invest into their marriage, their kids, and the marriages of others, study the Word, teach, preach, train, and help others. Deral also likes to fly private aircraft and gliders, learn to play different musical instruments, work on anything mechanical, build and fly R/C airplanes, build computers and computing, work with video and audio projects, shoot primitive firearms, and restore things. Deral says, “While I may not always do everything well, and can and will do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Leslee likes to spend time with her close friends--encouraging one another. Some of her favorite things to do are, shop, decorate, read and spend time having fun with her family. They have two wonderful children. Meranda is a junior at The Ohio State University, Marion, and is studying Early Childhood Education. Joshua is an eighth grader at Marysville Middle School, and loves to play trumpet. Meranda is also a musician, playing clarinet and percussion. The family has one pet: five pounds of terror--a teacup poodle named Sami. Deral is a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant. His 22 years in the service took them through many churches--both in England and the states. Some of Deral and Leslee's fondest memories are of the children in England and in Texas. You never forget the little ones when they come to you and say that you have changed their lives. One of their sweetest memories is of an 18 year old boy, who at his graduation--in the midst of all his friends and family--said, "I've been waiting for you to come." These are life changing moments that the Carsons will never forget. |

Priscilla Wilcox Priscilla oversees and works with others in some very important ministries within the church. She oversees the hospitality ministry, the ushers, and the greeters at TGP. All of these ministries are important because they are the core of who and what we are. Priscilla has a heart for people. She loves to make them feel "at home", and TGP is a family of believers. The greeter staff see to it that everyone feels welcome, and the ushers meet the needs of the people. Priscilla has overseen these ministries since 2004, and keeps a basic approach to this ministry: Greet everyone who comes to TGP with a smile, a bulletin, and a friendly welcome. Priscilla accepts volunteers who are suited for this ministry and love meeting people as much as she does. Priscilla and the greeter staff pay particular attention to new visitors. The greeter staff helps newcomers find their way about the facility by providing a quick tour. We at TGP want visitors to know who we are and what is available to them, so each visitor receives a special packet at the door about the fellowship. Priscilla and her husband Larry Wilcox have been married for 32 years. Long, healthy marriages are prevalent at TGP! Priscilla and Larry have both been a part of the Foursquare church since 1977-1978 when Pastor Vern Ulery oversaw the church. |
